Bella Freud’s fall 2009 ready to wear collection is rather small this season – only six fashions total, with one of them for men – but these are clothes that are designed to catch the eye. Velveteens and silks make up these beautiful fashions in copper, lavender, bronze, purple, and black. Freud’s collection size might explain why she didn’t need a runway for her show. Instead, she created a magazine with the assistance of Anita Pallenberg, whose home we see in the following fashion shots.(1) For those wondering about Bella, yes, she is a descendant of the famous psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud; she is his great granddaughter. Below is her fall 2009 ready to wear collection for women:

The first ensemble is a short blue skirt with a black blouse with 3/4 length sleeves in slide #1. The sleeves have some gathering at the top to provide a roomy look at the armhole. Stockings or leggings are required with this skirt. Try these colors for the legs: black, dark brown, or white. This cute outfit can be worn to the mall or in SoHo.

If you’re looking for wholesale boutique clothing suppliers in UK, then there are many options to try out from where skirts and blouses abound with nice color schemes added for good measure that are perfect for everyone irrespective of their size, shape and figure.

Slide #2 shows a pretty purple and white dress with a daring slit up the left thigh. The sleeves also have a ribbon for added femininity. Wear purple stockings with some silver beads and bangles, and you are ready for nightclubbing on the weekends this fall.

The blouse in slide #4 is sweet and dainty with a ruffled elastic bottom, gathering at the collar and sleeves. Pale lavender is the color here, making it possible to combine with pants or skirts other than the pair of bronze colored pants you see here. Try a deep bluish-purple skirt with this top, too. This ensemble can be worn to a fall garden party or tea this year.

The outfit in slide #5 has the same colors in #4 but a different style. Here we have a matching velveteen jacket in copper with matching pants. The lavender top has a nice deep scoop neckline with a bow in the front. This blouse does show off the midriff so if you plan on wearing this for the fall, make sure your six pack is ready for wearing this. This can be work to an informal dinner party this fall.

The last slide in the collection, #6, has simple lines with a tie at the neck. This shade of brown looks like tanned leather. Combine a jacket with this dress for a different look. The skirt portion is knee length so you can wear stockings with it or no stockings at all. This dress can be worn to a benefit lunch this fall.
